Gate Gourmet Begins Service to Spirit Airlines

MEMPHIS, TN, June 4, 2004 - Gate Gourmet announces a new relationship with Spirit Airlines, the largest privately-held airline in the United States. Gate Gourmet began providing catering ser-vices for Spirit Airlines out of eight U.S. cities in May.

The three-year foodservice contract calls for Gate Gourmet to provide onboard services to Spirit Airlines' more than 125 daily flights through catering operations in Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, New York LaGuardia, Detroit, Chicago/O'Hare, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Denver.
