Chef Carlos Cazares Carrillo

Carlos Cazares Carrillo is the Executive Chef for Gate Gourmet & MAASA -- Mexico City.

A native Mexican, Chef Carlos' culinary career started in 1985 when he served as the Operative Supervisor at The Wind Mill Tavern, Hotel & Golf Club in Miami, Florida. He later returned to Mexico to manage the Liverpool Restaurant. Following that, he was appointed Executive Chef of the well-established chain of restaurants "La Mansión." He then served in the role of Executive Chef at the Palacio de Hierro Restaurant, Club de Golf Bellavista Restaurant, and the Glomark Group, Inc. Restaurante.

Chef Carlos earned his administration degree in the Escuela Bancaria y Comercial and also studied Tourism in the Escuela Internacional de Turismo. He studied English, as well, in the English Language Learning Center in New York.
