



Gottfried Menge is the most recent addition to the Gate Gourmet family of chefs, having joined Division Europe as Senior Development Chef in November 2006.
As a key member of the European Product Development Team, Chef Gottfried strengthens the culinary capabilities that Gate Gourmet brings to your table. He is an internationally acclaimed Executive Chef with expertise in various cuisines and has over 25 years of professional, high-end hospitality catering experience, including the five-star properties Howard Plaza Hotel in Taipei, Japan, and Hotel Nikko in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Most recently, Chef Gottfried worked with Eva Air subsidiary Evergreen Sky Catering in Taiwan, where he designed, developed and implemented all menu cycles for Eva Air and other airline customers.
Chef Gottfried has been an active member of the international gastronomic society Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs since 1996 and in 2001 was promoted to Conseiller Culinaire.
The satisfaction of seeing the end result of one's own creative process was Chef Gottfried's main motivation to enter the culinary arts. The special challenges of introducing restaurant food to the sky led him to the next step of joining the airline catering industry.
