Chef Kevin Miller

Kevin Miller joined Gate Gourmet in December 2006 as an Executive Chef on the Menu Design team. Chef Kevin is based in Sterling, Virginia, nearby the corporate co-headquarters office in Reston. He also travels on a regular basis to assist colleagues internationally with menu design, development, presentation and other needs.

Chef Kevin has over 25 years of experience in the food industry. This includes working in both the commercial franchise and private sectors, and also owning several establishments ranging from retail catering to fine dining. Prior to joining Gate Gourmet, he was an Assistant General Manager and Via Coordinator for Panera Bread. Chef Kevin also established – and recently sold – The Glenwood Restaurant and a restaurant management group that developed restaurant concepts, created menus and recipes, and provided business guidance for the food industry.

A graduate of Peter Kumps School of Culinary Arts, and Newark School of Fine & Industrial Arts, Chef Kevin earned degrees in Culinary Arts with a Certification in Bread and a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Art and Advertising.

In addition to the culinary arts, Chef Kevin also enjoys reading and art, as well as outdoor pursuits – riding motorcycles, hiking and fishing.
