Gate Gourmet Seattle has had the distinct honor of catering charter flights for the Seattle Seahawks, including the football team's flight to Detroit to play in the 2006 Super Bowl game. The manager of flight attendants for Vulcan Flight Management and lead flight attendant for Seattle Seahawks charter flights, Karen Cassens, has worked closely with Gate Gourmet for seven years and spoke highly of the wonderful job done by the unit employees in Jacksonville, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, San Francisco, St. Louis, Phoenix, and Detroit over the years, with a special nod of appreciation to the Seattle unit.
